Today, at school, this IGCSE girl looked at my arm and asked, “You also do that?” I looked at my arm, nodding hesitantly. She gave me a sad smile and lifted her sleeve and said, “Me too.” I looked at her and I just hugged her. I rubbed her back and said, “I’m sorry that you felt the way you did in order for you to do that to yourself. You’re not alone and I am so, so, so proud of you for fighting. Please make a promise to me, before you do anything to yourself, message me, I don’t care what time it is, I will be there. Okay? Stay strong and keep fighting!” Then I hugged her again. The look in this girls eyes was heartbreaking. She looked as if she was fighting to hold back her tears.
